What are Ear Seeds?

Ears Seeds are a form of acupressure: they involve the use of pressure from small seeds (or beads), rather than needles, to stimulate acupuncture points on the ear. Seeds are applied to specific points on the ear surface using a hypoallergenic surgical tape, and are left in place for up to 1 week, then discarded.

Typically, seeds from the vaccaria plant are used because they contain therapeutic compounds important in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). However, other materials are gaining popularity such as magnets, silver, and gold (shown in the photo above).

Ear seeds can be used for pain, anxiety, cravings, sleep issues, digestion and more. We offer them as a standalone alternative to acupuncture if you don’t want needles, or as a $5 add-on to your acupuncture treatment - to help enhance and prolong the effects of the treatment.
